ACTIVATE Ability: Allied Health Therapies (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Exercise Physiology) for all abilities and ages. ACTIV PLAY: NDIS early intervention therapies 2years – 7 years ACTIV TEENS: Programs for ages 12-17 for all abilities ACTIVATE Work Ability: Allied Health Therapies (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Exercise Physiology) tailored towards your work task goal. Out of practice services: Hydrotherapy and Home visits Multidisciplinary programs: Programs or sessions utilising the individual skills of different health practitioners for maximum outcomes Group Programs: Small groups of individuals with similar needs or goals, generally for the purposes of social interaction, participation, or community access. ACTIVATE health is a registered provider with the National Disability Scheme (NDIS) working with people with disability, their carers, medical, and support team, and NDIS planners to: Exercise Physiology services through the NDIS include both Individual and or Group Supervised Exercise physiology sessions targeting the needs and goals of the individual and their special needs. Exercise Physiology is claimed under the Improved Health and Wellbeing Section of Funding for those with a permanent disability, where that disability impacts on their ability to perform daily activities.

ACTIVATE Health Allied Health NDIS Programs include:
- Individual Assessment and Consultation – Individual provider management plan and services request report provided
- Individual therapy sessions in our private practices, Hydrotherapy pools, or at home,
- Group programs – small groups with similar needs and goals generally targeted at increasing socialisation outcomes and community access
- Multidisciplinary sessions as needed
- Equipment recommendations and ordering

Our early intervention programs provides accessible allied health therapy for children ages 2-12. We off an adaptive therapy gym and consult rooms that are designed to support the needs of all abilities and ages. We offer individual and small group interventions for toddlers and children with special needs and/ or developmental delays or goals. Our practitioners are highly passionate and experienced with targeted interventions for children. We ensure programs are goal and participation directed whilst enabling fun, interactive, and ‘play’ based activities. Research shows children with disability engage in less physical activity compare to their typically developing peers. Here at Activate Health, we believe every child deserves access to inclusive and engaging exercise services! Why is exercise important? Exercise has a wide variety of benefits for children such as: Activ Teens is an inclusive and engaging individual and group allied health program for adolescence. We take special consideration in structuring our sessions to suit every individual. Our health practitioners ensure your program targets your goals in a safe and interactive manner! Why is group exercise beneficial? Exercise in a group based setting has many benefits for teenagers such as: Activate Work Ability interventions are available under NDIS funding (Capacity building and Improved Daily Activity Living), for those with goals related to starting/ returning to the workforce or increasing tasks/ hours. Therapy in the water enables multiple benefits including independence of movement not able on land, pain management, improve cardiovascular and respiratory fitness not able on land, supported body weight, pain management, reduced muscles spasm, improved circulation, increased muscles through resistance against the water, and enjoyment. Group participants are assessed for physical and intellectual abilities, with care taken to form groups of similar levels and needs maximising results and enjoyment. Group sizes vary from 2-6 depending on the type of the class and needs of the individuals. Socialisation and sensory needs are catered for with an individualised and graded approach. Parents and carer’s may or may not be required within the group sessions, this is assessed and based on the needs of the group and individual. Activate Ability small groups utilise all Allied Health Disciplines including our Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Allied Health Assistants as determined by the groups needs and goals.
