ACTIVATE Veterans Exercise and Rehabilitation
Exercise Physiology services include the delivery of clinical exercise intervention to manage chronic disease and the provision of post-acute exercise rehabilitation for people recovering from major injury or illness.
Exercise Physiology treatment contributes to the management of:

- Weight Management, Obesity
- Falls Prevention, Balance, and Mobility
- Diabetes
- Cardiovascular Disease
- Respiratory Diseases such as Emphysema and COPD
- Osteoporosis and Arthritis
- Mobility, ROM and Flexibility
- Cancer
- Pre- or Post-Surgery
Gold and White Card Holders with a condition that will benefit from Exercise Physiology can be referred by their General Practitioner. GP’s need to provide a D904 referral stating referral condition.
Personalised Exercise Interventions for all abilities, disabilities, and needs such as:
- Home Visits available, our AEP will visit your home or care facility to prescribe and supervise suitable exercises
- One on one supervised Exercise therapy sessions within our private Exercise therapy gym
- Veteran Group Exercise including independent programs conducted in an enjoyable and social atmosphere
- Activate Group Classes such as Hydrotherapy, Seniors, and seated exercise classes
- Partners or Carer’s fully included in Exercise Physiology interventions
